Ann graduated from the National College of Art and Design 1986 with an honours degree in Industrial Design. She then joined Kilkenny Design Studios postgraduate programme.
After two years developing products for Krups, Philips and Dunlop, she moved into the field of exhibition and museum design.
Ann worked for seven years with design studios in Australia and Britain on prestigious projects such as the Aeronautics Gallery for the British Science Museum, the Cabinet War Rooms for the Imperial War Museum and the Communications Museum for the State of Victoria, Australia. In 1995, Ann returned to Ireland and established Scroope Design. Fifteen years on Ann's committment to delivering the highest quality service has never waned.
She is a business mentor with West Cork Enterprise Board. She also provides the “Exhibition Planning” course for the Irish Museums Association. Ann is the author of "The Design and Layout of Exhibitions for Museums" for the Manual of Irish Heritage Management.
