Cruachan Ai represents the threshold between fact and mythology: the threshold between evidence and belief.
The survival of this Roscommon landscape, its folklore, history, archaeology and mythology are ievocatively explored in this custom built environment. 
Working with artists, sculptors and film studies students from the National College of Atrt and Design we drew inspiration from the folklore of Queen Maedbh and the legends of the Tain.
